#kw3dprinters: plan for next meeting

The first meeting of the KW 3D Printer Society was a success. We had 29
participants, some decent invited talks, and a show & tell with multiple 3D
printers. And some pretty interesting people attended.
We ought to keep doing this. So let's do event planning.
I would like to make each event special, by including invited speakers, or
a hands-on workshop, or even run another tech facility tour (the Hyphen
Services tour in March was very popular).
First question is, how often? I figure either once a month, or once every 2
months. The latter gives us a schedule of July, September, November,
January, March, May, which isn't bad. Or maybe we schedule the next meeting
when we've got something lined up to make it worth while.
Second question is, when is the next one?
* I'm not available Aug 1-12.
* Tuesday is open night at Kwartzlab, so we should avoid Tuesday as long as
Kwartzlab is hosting the event. (Ditto for Sunday evening.)
* Chris Gibson of ORD Solutions is not available Mondays and Wednesdays,
and suggests that Thursdays are good days.
So maybe: 2nd Thursday of each month. Aug 15 and Sept 12?
Third question, what special activities should we schedule for the next
meeting or two? I'm thinking that we could continue inviting people to talk
about their current projects. I think there were some people at the first
meeting that could give an interesting talk, and volunteers are welcome.
Also, Chris Magno (on this list) is specifically interested in doing
something: giving a talk, demoing some stuff.
