Hello Everyone,

This is your official email notice of the General Meeting of the members
of KwartzLab Society Inc., which has been duly called by the Board of
Directors.

Date:		September 22nd, 2009
Time:		7:30 PM
Location:	283 Duke St W., Unit 106, Kitchener, ON

The agenda of the meeting shall be:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of the Agenda
3. Confirmation of Bylaws Passed at September 9th, 2009 Board Meeting
  - Be it resolved that the following Bylaws be adopted as the Bylaws of
    KwartzLab Society Inc. (full text of proposed bylaws attached to
    this email)
4. Confirmation of Special Resolution passed at the September 9th, 2009
   Board Meeting
  - Be it resolved that, subject to ratification at a general member
    meeting, the opportunity for charter members to join the corporation
    as full members shall end October 31. After that date, they must
    re-apply as new members.
5. Adjournment

N.B.  There has been a request to clarify the language "for charter
members" in item number 4 of the agenda.  The agenda reflects the
resolution as passed by the Board of Directors.  It is likely that an
amendment will be brought forward clarifying this language, but not
changing the substance of the resolution.

According to the Bylaws passed at the Board Meeting on Wednesday, this
notice is sufficient for the calling of the General Meeting.  But, to
cover all bases, we've mailed out notices in accordance with the
Corporations Act of Ontario, clause 93 (1) (a).  You should be receiving
them early next week.

Please note that we require 10 members to be present for quorum, so your
presence would be appreciated.  If you have any questions, feel free to
ask them on the members list, on IRC (#kwartzlab on freenode), or by
emailing me personally.
