[KwartzAnnounce] Public Discussion List is Now Opt-Out

[Kwartzlab Members Announce List]

To help encourage use of the public discussion list, we have switched it
to "opt-out" for all members.

This means that if you had not all ready subscribed to the list, you now
are. If you would like off of the list, you may unsubscribe by logging
in to your kwartzlab.ca account, and adjusting your mailing list settings.

The public discussion list is for all social and makerly discussions
which are not exclusive to members. This is our opportunity to
communicate with the public, and show them what an engaging, active and
creative community we are. Let's use it.

Some helpful hint:

* If you want to remind the membership to throw out their pizza boxes
after a party, send it to the members list.

* If you want to ask for ideas on how to make your thingamabob go boo,
send it the discuss list.

* If you want to share your thoughts regarding our policy against dog
breeding in the premises, send it to the members list

* If you want to let people know about interesting things happening in
the area, send it to the discuss list.

In short, if its boring and administrative, its probably appropriate for
the members list. If its not, its probably appropriate for the public
discussion list.
