[KwartzAnnounce] Members Meeting - Wednesday Feb. 17th at 7 PM

[Kwartzlab Members Announce List]

Hello again all,

So, in discussion with people since the agenda was announced, there
seems to be lots of enthusiasm for talking about the Vision for
KwartzLab:  What do we want to do?  What do we want to build together?
What tools do we want to get?  What events do we want to have?  This
seems to be something people really want to talk about.  Nor can I blame
them, it'll be a lot of fun.

There has been... less enthusiasm toward the other items on the agenda.
Now, although I can't change the official agenda now (can't do it in the
10 days before the meeting), we can change it once the meeting starts.

So what the Board has proposed is at the beginning of the meeting to
move the Vision item to the top of the agenda, and if we have time and
the desire after we're done that, we'll look at any other items people
want to discuss at that meeting.

For any items we don't get to, we'll dedicate special Board meetings for
them, and anyone who's interested can show up or submit comments then.

Essentially, we'd end up with (this is non-official):

1. Call to order
2. Meeting Procedure
3. Vision for 2010
4. Optional items
  a. Membership Hiatus
  b. Membership Vetting
  c. Bylaws (incl. Board Election Procedures)
  d. Non-members in KwartzLab
8. Adjournment

Would more people be interested in a meeting structured that way?
