Hallo KwartzLabbers!

It is time for our annual general meeting!  The AGM is a meeting that is
required by law so that the board can keep the members informed of the
status of the corporation.  This email serves as your official notice of
the meeting as per our bylaws.  But first, we need your help!

We need a volunteer to act as the Election Coordinator for the
election.  As the Election Coordinator, you will have to prepare the
paper ballots for the vote, appoint two scrutineers to count the
ballots, act as the final authority on the ballot count, and act as the
contact for candidates if they wish to withdraw.  It's not a lot of
work.

The Agenda for the AGM is:

1. Presidents Remarks
2. 2009 Financial Report

  "Be it resolved that the report as presented by the Treasurer be
  accepted as the 2009 Financial Report for KwartzLab Society Inc."

3. By-law adoption

   "Be it resolved that the text at
   http://gerlach.ca/kwartzlab/bylaws.html be adopted as the bylaws of
   KwartzLab Society Inc."

4. Board Elections

   "Be it resolved that _____, _____, _____, _____, _____, _____, and
   _____ be appointed as the directors of KwartzLab Society Inc. for a
   term beginning July 1, 2010."

   The Candidates standing for election are:

5. Adjournment


The AGM is one of the most important things we have to do as a
corporation, so the more who can attend, the better.
