[KwartzAnnounce] Introducing the new website.. only a year delayed!

[Kwartzlab Members Announce List]

Hey folks, you may have already noticed the new website is now live.
This is based off Wordpress, and everyone's accounts, posts and comments
should all be transferred. While I've done some major converting from
drupal code to wordpress, some posts may look a little funny. If you've
blogged on the site before, please login and have a look at your
previous posts.

Some things to note:

- The Wordpress Dashboard (blogging interface) is separated from the
main site. To login, navigate to this link. Your existing credentials
should work: http://www.kwartzlab.ca/wp-admin/

- Drupal blog links should automatically forward to the new wordpress links.

- While the Wordpress blogging interface is (much) improved from
Drupal's, if you'd like blogging bliss I'd recommend a 3rd party editor
that can link through the website using your account. Windows Live
Writer is awesome, and there are equally stellar Mac and Linux desktop
editors (as well as mobile apps) that'll plug into the website.

- To edit your mailing list subscriptions, go here:

- The new Events calendar is linked here: https://www.kwartzlab.ca/events/

- Everyone who has added/edited the wiki before should have gotten a
password reset e-mail. This is required since the main website and the
wiki have separate user databases. This password reset only affects the
wiki, your drupal login and password will work on the new website.

So, if anyone has any questions, sees any jaggy edges or falling rocks,
please let me know!
