Gen 6 uses a thermistor for nozzle temperature sensing, so we would have to replace our nozzle (or perhaps we could just embed a thermistor into it but it would have poor thermal tracking because of the thermistor being (relatively) far from the melt chamber. It would also require extensive rewiring (albeit the new wiring would be much tidier).
Although the web page recommends crimp pins for all the connectors, it should be possible to use MTA-100 IDC connectors which do not require crimping.
This still leaves you with the task of finding the correct configuration parameters for the GCode conversion.
