They're always recruiting for this sort of thing. Even if you miss this
one, there will be another. We've been getting these at site 3 for a while
now.
Also, from a friend who works in the industry: this is bullshit and you
don't actually want to do it if you know what you're doing. But you should
make that decision for yourself ;)

A Canadian reality TV show called "Backyard Inventors" is looking for
people who have built or invented cool things in their garage, to appear on
the show. The goal is to showcase your invention and get help
commercializing it.
Read the attachments for more details.

Might be of interest to folks at kwartzlab. Looks like it's a "hurry up"
thing.

Yesterday I spoke with a representative producing a new Canadian TV Series
called Backyard Inventors. He was asking if 3D Prototype Design might know
any inventors interested a great opportunity to bring their product to life
at an accelerated rate.
We know there are many of you with great inventions that we've produced
prototypes of (even some of you with side personal projects that you are
working on outside of your full-time job) and believe this could be
something to get excited about.
Please see the attached press release with all the info I have as well as
who to contact if this should be of interest to you. I have also attached
the application form. My understanding is that you need to respond very
quickly.
Good luck and let me know how you make out!
