Hello!


I've been working very hard these last few months as the Head of Props for
Theatre Ancaster's upcoming production of AIDA. We open in just ONE WEEK!


If you're a fan of musical theatre, or have never been to a live show
before-- you won't be disappointed with AIDA! The music is awesome (Elton
John & Tim Rice) and of course the props are fantastic ;)

Plot:* ****

*Aida*, like “Romeo and Juliet”, is the timeless story of two lovers, an
Egyptian military Captain, and his captive slave,* Aida,* a Nubian
Princess. Of course, the captain has been betrothed to the Pharaoh’s
daughter since childhood, and she does not take his falling in love with*Aida
* lightly. To make matters worse, the Captain’s father has been plotting to
overthrow the Pharaoh and install his son and the Pharaoh’s daughter on the
throne – with himself as the power behind that throne.  Yes you guessed it,
things do not go smoothly....and in the end it is not until the 21st
Century that the story ends happily.****

The show is *family friendly*, and full of Elton John’s many popular
exciting musical styles.  You are sure to really enjoy it!****
