I would love to volunteer with the pumpkin carving!
I don't think my car would be much help in moving pumpkins(the seats don't go down), but if you're stuck we could pile em into my trunk and back seat (I have a Sunfire).
Sorry- won't be able to make the meeting but I'm sure James will fill me in.
Can't wait to scoop some goop! lol

Subject: [KwartzLab] call for Hacky Halloween volunteers (and meeting on
Thursday)
Hacky Halloween is 10am-5pm Sat October 29 at The Museum, and we need
volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering for Hacky Halloween, please
respond to the list, and consider coming to our meeting this Thursday
at 7:30pm (one hour before the board meeting).
There are many ways you can volunteer. We need:
* trucks or large vehicles, pumpkin moving team. We are picking up 100
pumpkins at 9am Saturday at Nauman's farm, and unloading them at the
museum front door. Afterwards (around 5pm), we'll take any unused
pumpkins and pumpkin waste back to the farm for composting. We have
two vehicles so far (Doug and Karl), need 2 more.
* carving team: teach and supervise kids to carve pumpkins, help set up tables
* soldering team: teach and supervise kids to solder the pcb, help set up tables
* soldering stations: We need people to lend us decent soldering
stations (just for the day). No radio shack fire starters please. We
have 5, need 5 more.
Please only volunteer if you can commit on Saturday, October 29. We
are counting on you!
Doug & James
