I know you can cut fabric on the Silhouette, however they tell you to use
their fabric interfacing with it. This is their tutorial

Not sure what kind of material this can be substituted with...maybe just
regular thin iron on interfacing to give the fabric more substance? Or
another idea would be some clear contact paper from the dollar store(sticky
on one side). I will try it on my machine and let you know how it turns out.
I wouldn't want to pay the $8/sheet for their fancy stuff.
