[KwartzLab] need ubuntu help (for 3D printer)

The ubuntu machine from the working centre has bad configuration,
which I need to fix.

If you try to download packages or security updates, you get an error
because it's trying to download from http://ubuntu/...
This host is defined in /etc/hosts as:
127.0.1.1	ubuntu.theworkingcentre.org	ubuntu

Obviously this won't work in our network environment.  So there must
be a configuration file somewhere that I need to change back to
standard settings.

But I just don't know enough ubuntu magic to find and change this
config file.  Can anybody help?
