[KwartzLab] pumpkins for Hacky Halloween

So just to clarify, this is for the people who don't bring their own pumpkin?  Or for everyone?

Also, regarding the saws - I wasn't able to come out on Tuesday so I don't know what was discussed.  But I suggest one blade per pumpkin plus about 20% extra to account for breakage.  People could then take the blades home with them.  It's definitely best to buy them online.  I can get one gross (144 blades) for $50.  That is for big, thick blades that are unlikely to break.

There's also no need to use patterns - people could draw their own patterns and then "trace" the lines with the saw.

- Jeff

>I talked to the guy at Nauman's farm.  Their best offer is this:
>* Early on Saturday Oct 29: get a pickup truck from a rental agency.
>* 9am on Saturday, we show up at the farm with the truck, they load
>us up with pumpkins.  We pay for all the pumpkins (half price).
>* After the event, before they close, we bring back any pumpkins we
>didn't use, and they dispose of them.  No refunds, but they don't
>charge us for accepting waste, either, and they help us unload.

>ensure that those pumpkins are available and waiting for us when we
