[KwartzLab] The ideal Kwartzlab

It's a bit silly to debate the kitchen like this. I would probably
never use a garage door or a Bridgeport CNC mill, but I'll still
endorse them, as I know other members would use these things
productively.

The point of the kitchen is not that nobody has a sink or a microwave
or a fridge or a coffeemaker at home. The point is that we already use
these facilities. People buy drinks from the fridge and eat food at
the lab. We do food prep during parties (and so do other spaces --
site3 has epic parties). And some of us would like to hold "cooking
for geeks" workshops at kwartzlab. In fact, one such workshop is being
planned. Not many people have liquid nitrogen, a sous-vide cooker, or
spherification chemicals in their kitchen, but I hope we'll be able to
bring these things in to kwartzlab.

>>> I generally like where we are at. Kitchen would be nice, but it's a maker
>>> space not a house or dinner so to me that's not essential.

>> A kitchen is no less a collection of maker tools than a wood shop is. ^_-

> Yes, but I bet every member of Kwartzlab already has a kitchen. But not
> everyone has a lathe, or band saw etc.
