[KwartzLab] Cloud Robotics Hackathon

This is an announcement for a global synchronous robotics hackathon, which
I am reposting to Discuss as a courtesy to the organizers.  Nobody at
Kwartzlab is currently involved, that I've heard, but if people are
interested, there's contact information below.  There is an offer of free
robots, plus prize money, as an incentive.

Allow me to introduce you to the The Cloud Robotics Hackathon to be held on
March 2nd to March 4th 2012 at Notman House.

The Cloud Robotics Hackathon aims to catalyse the creative process and
bring roboticists, programmers, and hackers to produce social robotic
applications that use collaboration between machines through
cloud-computing, and natural interaction with humans in order to reach
useful goals. The mains instance of the Hackathon will be held in Montreal,
and teams around the world are invited to hack as well at on the same day
under the same rules.

We will send FREE robots to each team around the world before the event.
However, You have to contact us as soon as possible to ask for equipment.

We will award many prizes to different team such as 1000$ Grand prize and
robotshop gift cards.
