Agnes,
I'm afraid we don't have any literature to hand out. This event is intended as an introduction to the techniques and to provide a bit of practical experience. We can provide a few book recommendations, but the workshop is mostly for the stuff that's hard to learn out of a book...

I'm not familiar with the Magic Dip kits (other than having just viewed one of their old ads on YouTube) so I'm not sure how the borax is used in the process nor what its purpose is. I did a quick search online but could not find any Magic Dip instructions. Maybe if you bring in the kit some Tuesday evening I can have a look at it.

[...] Will there be any literature provided in the workshop? I'd love to get some more info on what kind of paint to use. I have an old Magic Dip kit from when I was a kid, but the paints all dried up! I believe it uses a Borax water solution as the bed.
