Exactly. This whole 'vote online' and get money thing is a sham.
There's no real way to validate someones identity online. A person could
hijack the contest by autogenerating thousands of fake users and emails
and then using them to vote for the winner every day. It would be better
if a panel of known experts and peers made the decision about who gets the
money.
