Our friends at SO Space, the upcoming space conference in Waterloo,
are looking for people to fill out their Steel Rails Session car.
Steel Rails is an awesome event that draws a great crowd. We had a
car in the first one, which was a fantastic experience.
SO Space would be looking for anything even remotely space-related.
And we can promote DIY space awesomeness and show off some cool
technology. If you have any ideas, discuss them here! Or get in
touch with Charlotte (she's very nice)!
Darcy.

Hey gang
The city of Kitchener has offered SO Space some space (lol) on the
Steel Rails session on June 22.
Here is the video talking about it.
http://www.rqmagazine.com/2011/07/07/new-video-steel-rails-by-huckleberry-film-studios/
SO Space would receive $500 for participating (that would go towards
the festival in September) and it would be a great way to promote the
festival and science to a different crowd.
Any suggestions on displays and participation? This is an arts culture
event and since science is the greatest art of all...I'm sure we can
think of ways to show space and science with artsy appeal. We would
have a cab on the train to do whatever we want.
I know you are all super busy, but if you think of any ideas, feel
free to throw them my way and I will make it so. Perhaps the sky as a
living canvas or something like that. If any of you wish to physically
participate or know of someone that does, please let me know. I'm open
to any and all ideas!
Thank you so much for your time and for helping celebrate science and space!
