[KwartzLab] The hackability of the Playbook

No guarantees that Dingleberry will ever work again. RIM may be more
competent than Apple at writing secure code. And there are probably
way fewer people trying to find security holes.

On the hardware side, ifixit.com gives the Playbook a 7/10 hackability
(repairability) score:
