[KwartzLab] Getting a larger space, renting storage rooms for members -- thoughts?

you might want to consider the model from artisan's asylum in boston - they
have a large area set up for individual studios for renters. the smallest
ones are cubicles, and the top-end ones are actual rooms. different groups
with different needs can set up their areas how they want - for example,
one group has a bike shop set up in their open area.

it seems to work out pretty well, allowing people to have their private
workspace but still be a part of the larger community and have all the
communal tools and shop spaces under the same roof.

it's such an incredible space - i highly recommend looking into it and
taking their successes/failures into account if you're interested in
getting more space and moving in that direction. i can provide email
introductions to people there if you'd like!
