The core material is and will be liberally licensed and on Github, but 
I really feel like the core usefulness of a course over a video series or 
reading wikipedia articles (which is how I learned half of this stuff) is 
the ability to interact with both students and instructor who can answer 
questions you have specifically.

Also, as a first run, there might be some rough edges.

So, I'm not against the idea, but I'm not sure how useful it would be.
