I should actually write a blog on this I think...

I actually have done some music 'making' this week preparing for the show tomorrow night.

I'm using my gear in a combination that I have wanted to do for some time but never achieved before!

Between learning and tweaking my Korg M50 to do my bidding, I also expanded into more vocoding and synthesized vocal harmonization this round because I'm flying solo. The only thing I'm not including with this show is sampling, but I didn't have a real need for it.

I'm actually doing the show sans laptop computer! It turned out using the actual on-board sequencer on my Korg M50 was the right tool. I actually like it when I remove computers from the equation for core music writing work. Doesn't always work, but it was perfect this time.
I'm old skool... I admit it. The fact that more musicians want the computer based software synthesizers these days is just fine by me! More old synths for my studio!

During the work, I did discover some glitches in the keyboard that I'll be raising with Korg to see if they can be fixed. The more complex they get...

Looking forward to knocking your socks off tomorrow night!

Cheers!
